Immigration

Now you may say i have sinned,
Sold my soul to another two faced bill,
But the wrath that reckons us all,
Is that sometimes our heart heeds the call.

Now our memories may fade.
Burns and bruises wash and heal away,
But the filth that once made me whole,
Makes me wanna make a better home.

So sweep the sand from beneath my feet,
So my hands push away the sleep,
Running miles in the broken cold,
Just to find you waiting at my door.
So a new flag is what i seek.
Dandi's salt to dandy salt taffy,
One day we'll make it real,
And then laugh about nationalities.
